Due to the approach of Hurricane Humberto The MarketPlace group of stores, including PriceRite and Sears, will close at 4pm today, September 18, 2019 and plan to reopen Thursday at 8am, subject to Emergency Measures Organisation clearance.

Hurricane Humberto continues its rapid approach towards Bermuda and has strengthened to a Category 3 storm. According to the Bermuda Weather Service its “closest point of approach to Bermuda is forecast to be 88 nm to the NW, 7pm Wednesday, September 18, 2019. However, this system may move closer to Bermuda after this time period depending upon its track.”
